HARO Cork Flooring

Cork is actually the bark of a tree commonly known as Cork Oak. This tree is predominantly found in Portugal and Spain. The bark naturally spilits every 9 to 15 years and can be safely harvested with no harm to the tree. The bark regrows and the cycle continues - some Cork Oak trees have lived to 500 years.

Cork flooring is therefore a natural product that is installed similar to a hardwood floor. Cork flooring is however much warmer than wood as well as being naturally sound absorbing and resistant to mold and mildew.
